Customers Goals

The Military Heritage Museum in Brantford had a clear vision: to create an engaging and immersive experience that would captivate both younger and older visitors. Most of their audience consists of school children on educational trips and war veterans who have a deep connection to the museum’s exhibits. The goal was to design an experience that resonates with these diverse groups, making the history come alive in a way that is accessible and interesting to everyone.

The Challenge

We faced several key challenges while working on this project. Firstly, we needed to design a user interface that would be easy for both tech-savvy younger generations and older visitors who might not be as comfortable with technology. Secondly, scaling up from a single chatbot to six distinct chatbots was no small feat. Each bot needed to have its own personality and knowledge base, which required significant data collection and training. Lastly, we wanted to ensure that visitors could access the AI suite effortlessly, without the hassle of manually inputting a URL on various devices and browsers. This was crucial for enhancing the user experience and ensuring that everyone could easily engage with the technology.

The Solution

To address these challenges, we implemented several innovative solutions. For the user interface, we opted for a design similar to popular messaging apps like WhatsApp and Messenger. This choice ensured that the interface was intuitive and straightforward, catering to users of all ages. To manage the scaling challenge, we developed a complex AI suite, training the chatbots with extensive data to create six distinct personalities. This approach not only made each chatbot unique but also enriched the overall experience for the users. Finally, to simplify access, we decided to use QR codes. This way, visitors could quickly scan the code with their devices and be instantly connected to the AI suite, bypassing the need for manual URL entry and making the technology more accessible to everyone.
