Footprints Dance Centre

At Footprints Dance Centre we believe in three key values to create our whole dance education experience. First and foremost we want to instill our dancers with a sense of community. We want them to feel comfortable and relaxed as part of the Footprints Family. We provide a positive and encouraging learning environment to celebrate each student as an individual. Whether you just want to dance for the love of it or to pursue dance as a career, we support all our dancers in their dance dreams. Our dance educators are all certified instructors who take pride in teaching dance technique correctly and more importantly, with kindness for all learners. We are proud to offer various streams for our dancers to pursue — from our recital division to our exam division and a competitive division as well.

The Challenge

Footprints Dance Center is just that. Footprints have interactive classes for moms and their little ones and competitive dance groups for any child five years or older. They had a previous website that lacked the showcase of the fun atmosphere they wanted to convey to their audience.

The Process

We met with Footprints Dance Center to design their new website. They wanted their new website to reflect their dance studio’s fun, family-oriented atmosphere. We decided to create a website with bright designs and a user-friendly appearance. The owners also wanted the website to include online signup and booking for dance classes. They also wanted us to help them increase their online presence and promote their studio in the local community. We optimized each page for SEO so it would be able to show up at the top of Google search results.

The Results

Smashing Pixels made a bright and fully functioning website that allowed users to sign up online for classes from the comfort of their own homes. Another primary concern that we addressed was making sure Footprints Dance Center was at the top of its google search. We used SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to further the simplicity of finding the website.
